TL;DR: Profound's pricing page lists a free trial and a custom Enterprise plan, and no other prices. Third parties report older self-serve tiers that have since been removed.

Profound plans and prices
Prices and features checked 11 and 12 October 2026 on Profound's own pricing page: tryprofound.com/pricing.
- Trial: Free. 7 days.
- Enterprise: custom. The page shows tailored packages and no dollar amounts.
- Agency Growth: mentioned in the FAQ as a self-serve plan, with no price given.
Profound publishes no price beyond the trial.
What each plan includes
Trial. 50 prompts, checked daily for 7 days, on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. The prompt set is a recommended one and can't be customized. Seats are unlimited. There is no data history, no exports and no API, and it covers 1 language and region. It also includes limited AI Marketer credits.
Enterprise. Custom prompts, ChatGPT Shopping, all-time data history, CSV and JSON export, API access and SSO. It covers up to 9 answer engines (the page doesn't list them), checked daily, and supports multiple projects.
Agency Growth. The FAQ mentions 400 credits a month per client workspace. Engines and price are not stated.
Cost per tracked question
Profound doesn't publish a price beyond the trial, so a cost per question can't be worked out from what the vendor states. The trial itself is free, which makes it $0 for 50 prompts over 7 days.
Third parties do report prices. These figures come from independent publications, not from Profound, and some of them conflict:
- 'Profound removed its self-serve Starter ($99 per month) and Growth ($399 per month) plans for brands' in mid-September 2026; brands now choose a limited free trial or custom Enterprise via sales demo; agencies can still self-serve at $399 per month per client workspace (eClincher (competitor-published article), 2026-10-08)
- Profound removed its lower-priced self-serve tiers (US$99 and US$399) in September 2026 (UD Blog (ud.hk), 2026-09-23)
That includes the older self-serve tiers, and a report that they were removed in September 2026. Profound's own pricing page doesn't announce the removal. Treat all of these as third party reports and check with Profound before you rely on them.
How Peak Answer compares
Peak Answer's Starter plan is $49 a month with a 7 day trial and covers 6 engines: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Copilot. It includes 50 questions, so the cost per tracked question is $49 divided by 50.
The price is listed publicly before you sign up. A feature comparison is in Profound vs Peak Answer, other tools are in Profound alternatives, and prices across the category are in AI visibility tools by price. The tools themselves are listed in best AI visibility tools in 2026.
FAQs
Profound has a free Trial: 50 prompts for 7 days, on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. A free plan beyond the 7 days is not listed on its pricing page.
Profound's pricing page shows the Trial as free and Enterprise as custom, with no dollar amounts. Third parties report older self-serve prices, but those are not on Profound's page as of 11 and 12 October 2026.
Profound's page doesn't say why. Enterprise is sold as a custom package, so the price comes from a sales conversation.
Third party articles report that paid self-serve tiers were removed in September 2026. Profound's own page doesn't announce this, and its FAQ still mentions a self-serve Agency Growth plan with no price.
It can't be worked out from the vendor. The only published figures are the free trial and a custom Enterprise plan.
